Villa Kruuva is rented out by Hästön Maatila Oy. In addition to Janne and Krista Eriksson, the next generation of the family, Merita, Juho, and Paavo, is also involved in the business. Our property is located by the sea in Särkisalo, at the mouth of the Perniö River. The proximity to waterways also makes the property well suited for holiday cottage rentals.

The fascinating history of Kruuvanmaki gave Villa Kruuva its name.

The first holiday cottage was named Villa Kruuva. Villa Kruuva is located, as its name suggests, south of Kruuvanmaki, on the shore of Ervastonlahti Bay. There is a small open quarry on Kruuvanmaki, where quartz and feldspar were extracted in the 1860s and 1880s. The extracted material was transported from the quarry to the shoreline near Villa Kruuva and loaded onto ships. Traces of the quarrying operations can still be seen along the shoreline near Villa Kruuva.
