Welcome to enjoy your stay.<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fascinating history of Kruuvanmaki gave Villa Kruuva its name.<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first holiday cottage was named Villa Kruuva. Villa Kruuva is located, as its name suggests, south of Kruuvanmaki, on the shore of Ervastonlahti Bay. There is a small open quarry on Kruuvanmaki, where quartz and feldspar were extracted in the 1860s and 1880s. The extracted material was transported from the quarry to the shoreline near Villa Kruuva and loaded onto ships.
